Charlie Boy

This is our 21st year going to Destin with our high school girlfriends. Always before we stayed in a condo. This year we chose “Charlie Boy” and loved it!! The location was great and we liked how close it is to the beach. Can’t wait to stay again!!

Definitely a 5-Star stay! This was the most chill vacation for our family! View, location and comfort was prime. Beautiful inside decor and comfy beds! The only negative aspect -It was obvious that Charlie Boy needed a fresh coat of exterior paint, compared to surrounding houses. Thanks for letting us enjoy your home!

Almost everything was great. The beds weren’t amazing, but were good enough. The furniture wasn’t super comfortable but wasn’t bad. But I spent most of my time on the beach and in the water and that was perfect. The location was pretty good too. Within walking distance to ice cream and coffee.

Location is the best! House is really cute, decor was loaded with beach vibes and had a nice layout perfect for our crew of five. Had a little bug issue but the management was on it in a flash. Sad our trip ended and eager to return!

We had a great stay at this place. Right on the beach so it was very easy with children. Large open kitchen, stocked with pots and pans for cooking. Very clean and spacious. It was nice that everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom. Perfect spot for a beach vacation would definitely stay again.

Overall we had a good stay but the home does need improving. It was not ideal having to go to the beach through the downstairs bedroom. The only working door was right beside the bed and it was very hard to open and close. The floors were disguised. Everyone’s feet were black the entire stay and it got in the beds and all on our clothes. Location was perfect for teens to walk and ride golf carts around but we probably won’t be staying at this location again.

We loved our stay here. Great location. I would stay here again although the amenities list is not correct. There is NOT 2 king beds in BR3 and there is NO bbq grill. The living room furniture could use a change out also.

Charlie Boy was a great rental for the week. Beautiful location & plenty of room for our large family. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of glasses, dishes & silverware and even had plastic cups (I appreciate this whenever we travel because we have young kids).
The only real issue that we had was that the front door didn’t lock. After contacting the host, I was told someone would contact me the next day but I never heard back. We ended up having our young kids sleep in the downstairs bedroom with us on the trundle bed just in case. The older kids loved this, however, because they had the entire top two floors of bedrooms to themselves.
All in all, the rental was enjoyable but they have got to fix that lock!

WOW - this place was amazing. We are actually precious locals who relocated to Atlanta. We came back to the Emerald Coast for a weekend family trip and this home was perfect for all 6 of us. The views were amazing, amenities were exactly as described and the location is perfect to get around Destin by car or foot. Great place right in the beach! My wife and two boys loved our stay here. They don’t provide beach chairs or beach towels FYI, but they have a store near by that sells cheap ones. We left our chairs there, for future guests. Hopefully they’ll allow that. Great place. Great location. Unbelievable beach!
