St. Tropez is an upscale, gated community in the heart of Miramar Beach on Scenic Gulf Drive. Within St. Tropez is a central oasis with a 2400sqft lagoon pool, a large hot tub, and bathrooms surrounded by lush tropical nature. St. Tropez is under a mile in either direction to Silver Sands Outlet Mall and Seascape Golf Resort, which offers tee times to members of the public and has superior tennis facilities. Casa del Mare is located close to the Silver Sands Factory Outlet, the nation’s largest designer factory outlet featuring more than 100 name brand designer stores. Also close by is Destin Commons with incredible eateries, upscale shopping, a park with pop up fountains at its center, and favorites like Bass Pro Shops, Fishbowl Bowling and AMC Movie Theaters.

Grand Boulevard Town Center is a pedestrian-friendly, shopping and dining complex just off Emerald Coast Parkway, convenient to both SanDestin and Miramar Beach. For the high-end shopper, the center offers everything from Fusion Art Glass Gallery to Brooks Brothers Country Club. A number of boutiques, such as Hello, Sunshine and Magnolia House, carry fare you can't find anywhere else. Dining options include Mitchell's Fish Market, P. F. Chang's China Bistro, and Cantina Laredo Gourmet Mexican Food. In 2013, Walton County’s first movie theater opened at Grand Boulevard’s Town Center – the state-of-the-art Boulevard 10 Movie Theater. Grand Boulevard is also home to a weekly Saturday farmer's market and Emerald Coast Theater Company for live entertainment.

The South Walton Artificial Reef Association (SWARA) has deployed four of their 16 different sites in this area. The closest being the Dolphin Reef, deployed in 2017 and comprised of 79 individual EcoSystem Reefs just 685 feet straight out from the Miramar Regional Public Beach access (by Pompano Joe's, 1.9 miles from this home). It is becoming a haven for sea life. Each of the four snorkeling reefs comprises 40 acres of permitted sea bottom. The Dolphin Reef is at a depth of 12-20 feet. We strongly recommend that snorkelers use a kayak, paddleboard, or other flotation device when visiting the snorkel reefs. Sea conditions can and do change quickly and often.
