This house is a relaxed getaway and a spacious open layout connecting the kitchen, dining, and living areas, perfect for gatherings or family time. With a Master King Bedroom featuring an ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower, a queen guest bedroom, and guest bedroom 2 with a twin over full bunk bed, this home comfortably accommodates 7 guests. Enjoy the private pool in the large backyard with a patio that offers a great space for family relaxation and activities when you're not at the beach (about 1000 yards). Paradise Retreat is a quiet, gated community of 120 homes within the beautiful Miramar Beach area. This community grants access to 320 feet of private, deeded beach with private access. Paradise Retreat is located only a short distance from several beachfront restaurants and only a few miles from Destin Commons and Silver Sands. Close by is Destin Commons, a beautifully landscaped, pedestrian-friendly area and a great family venue where children will love to play in the interactive water fountains. Destin Commons features over 75 shops and restaurants.

All the excitement of Destin is just minutes away: choice of water sports, golf, amusement parks, and outlet shopping. One glimpse of Destin beaches and you're hooked. It must be the wide, white beaches and the famous emerald waters. Not to mention the fabulous fishing, the world's most beautiful beaches, addictive seafood and the full array of activities for kids of all ages and more fun to be found in Destin.

If you are near Miramar Beach, the snorkelers in your group will love the new artificial reef called Dolphin Reef, deployed in 2017. Located just 685 feet straight out from the Miramar Regional Public Beach access (by Pompano Joe's), it is becoming a haven for sea life. Each of the 4 snorkeling reefs comprises 40 acres of permitted sea bottom. The Dolphin Reef is at a depth of 12-20 feet. We strongly recommend that snorkelers use a kayak, paddleboard, or other flotation device when visiting the snorkel reefs. Sea conditions can and do change quickly and often. Enjoy!

Spent a week here and it was just perfection! Having the pool in the backyard and being able to have our pups with us who loved just being out in the back with us. Truly enjoyed every minute. We didn’t want to leave! Loved that it was in a gated community and a quick walk to the beach. Will certainly be back!

We had a great experience at Captain Green's! The house was very clean and set up nicely for our family (us and our two kids and grandparents). We enjoyed the pool and cooking in the kitchen and it was nice to have access to a washer/dryer. The shower pressure was great. It was easy to access everything. The alarm on the back door is annoying but we were thankful for the saftey feature in case our kids opened the door and could get to the pool. We didn't realize the property had beach gear because the emails we got said it didn't, but that was a nice surprise (just wish we had known so we didn't lug all of our beach supplies there). The starter kit for cleaning supplies was very cheap, low-quality and minimal, so would be good to have a little bit better dish soap, paper towels, toilet paper, etc. The ice machine in the freezer was broken while we were there, but that wasn't a deal breaker. We would stay here again!

We’ll be staying here for our vacations every year now. It was set up perfectly for our family (toddler, 2 dogs, wife, and my parents). There were even high chairs and a pack and play for the baby that we won’t have to pack next time. I highly recommend staying here.

Wonderful home and very clean. We had a couple issues with the pool but that was fixed. The manager was extremely helpful.
