This was the 3rd time that my husband and I have stayed at Capri by the Gulf. This time, two other couples were here with us. We were in 119, and it was perfect for our needs. The AC was cold. The shower was hot with good water pressure. The location is good - our condo was maybe 30 or 40 steps from the steps that go down to the beach. The beach service was awesome - the guys doing the beach service set up a group of 3 sets of chairs and umbrellas for us each day. And EVERYONE in Capri was on the front row, even with Capri being very full for the week.The only things I can say that could use a little improvement, but aren't dealbreakers by any means: 1. It would be nice to have more towels and wash cloths for a week-long stay. 2. The gate in and out is slow, but again, not a dealbreaker.We will definitely stay at Capri again, and will consider other properties that are managed by Harmony Beach Vacations.

I had rented 4 Condos to meet the needs of my family that came with us on vacation. They loved it there. Very quite and close to the beach and very nice rooms. Definetly a place will will be returning too.This is about the 4th or 5th time that my husband and I have stayed here. Our happy place! Thank you Megan!

Loved the rental! It was nice and up to date and perfect for a couple. We love the location at Crystal Beach and just a very short walk from the beach. The only downside was that they no longer provide cable and you you have to use streaming apps to watch tv. My husband is old school so that was a little aggravating for him.

Location is great - beautiful, just a few blocks to busy 98 (where you can get everything) but seemed a world away which is a good thing!The property is older but VERY well maintained, very clean and quiet. The beach chairs were an appreciated amenity. Perfect getaway to enjoy the beach.

We LOVED and very much appreciated the updates! We have stayed in 119 many times and had always wished there was a door to the bedroom. The new door is great! It still allows for air circulation with the vents but provides privacy. The new coffee table and end table are also awesome. So much sturdier and look great too. Also loved the new Keurig! Thank you for sharing this little spot of heaven. Our family looks forward to it each year. When we arrive, we say "We're home!" :)

Again, we spent a delightful winter in Destin. Our condo was peaceful and restful. We survived the “infamous red couch”. Hopefully it will bless Dumpster Paradise by our next season. We enjoyed our neighbors who became our friends. Thanks for a great snowbird season.

We have been coming to Capri by the Gulf for years. It’s that special place to go and refresh & regroup. Walk out your door & down to the beach or have that first cup of coffee on the deck. If your early enough you can see some has a family feel to it in that you can grill some burgers & get to know your neighbors for the week if you want to. The rooms are set up with a comfortable bed , living room & small kitchen. So you can cook some & not break the bank eating out every meal. The front desk people are over the top friendly & professional. We may have to start going twice a year.

Great location! One level building, so no elevator to contend with and no noise coming from upstairs. You can park directly in front of your door to load and unload. The A/C unit was a little loud, no door to the bedroom, TVs were a bit small but we really liked having full kitchen with all necessities. Some units had screen doors, this unit did not, it would have been sooo nice to have a screen door. Would definitely stay here again!

It is a small complex. The unit was clean and well equipped. It was so nice to walk out of your door and out to the deck for morning coffee. It was so nice to be right on the beach. We will definitely come back to Capri!

We were luckily able to stay 2 nights at the last minute and we could not be happier with that decision. Our room was so clean and had everything we needed, not to mention the private beach access and lounge chairs provided just topped it off. We will definitely come back year after year!

We stayed in Capri 119 for the third year in a row. We walked in and my son said "Ah..we're home." We love this unit. It is well equipped, clean and there is plenty of storage. If I owned it, I would change some of the living room furnishings out to be more comfortable. The sofa bed is great. I would put in a more comfortable recliner, and instead of the glass coffee table (glass is super thin and I'm always worried we will crack it) I would put in a faux leather stuffed ottoman with removable lids so that they could be used for extra storage and then flipped over for a hard surface in case you wanted to put a drink on them or play games. A sectional with a sofa bed would be really ideal for that space. The entertainment center is pretty, but having a mounted tv with a smaller wall mounted entertainment box for electronic equipment would yield more floor space and open up the room a bit more. A top/bottom washer dryer unit would be heaven, but I'm not sure where it could be installed in the unit..maybe where the chest of drawers is in the bedroom? There is probably water hook-up there. We absolutely love this unit and would purchase it if we could. It has been a place of rest, relaxation and peace from our busy lives. We have bragged on the unit so often that my parents are checking in tomorrow for a few days. Please thank the unit owners for us from the Johnson Family - Lesh, Jen, Jonah, Jude and Joel.

This is the second year we stayed at Capri, Suite 119, and we love it! We call it our "home away from home". The property is quiet, has everything you need in a vacation place, and is right on the beach. The beach service is great also. The Capri features a private beach and that is definitely a plus. We will definitely return..hopefully soon!

My husband and I stayed here for a last minute Labor Day weekend trip. We were very pleased with the location and the condo. The beach was beautiful and only steps away from our door. There are wonderful restaurants just down the street that are all on the beach. My only complaint was the parking lot. It is a little tight if you have a bigger vehicle due to the "island" in the middle. We will definitely be back for a longer stay!

We loved our stay at the beach in Destin at The Capri! Our condo was comfortable and very well stocked. I very much appreciated the level of cleanliness as well. There is no in-unit washer/dryer but there is a laundry facility on-site..just a few doors down. The Capri is very quiet and the management was excellent. We can't wait to return next year!

Our expectations were exceeded from the moment we got there. Courteous, helpful staff got us checked in quickly. The unit was clean and attractive. We loved the location. Loved being right on the beach. Best part of the beach: because Capri has fewer units than the huge high rise condos and hotels, you get a private beach that is shared with a mere handful of people as opposed to the same amount of beach shared with 300 people! Having just moved someone to Miami I was on my way back to Texas.You can't totally plan things out in the moving business so when I found myself ready to call it a day driving I decided to try to stay at the Capri Condo's that we had taken our kids to when they were young. It would take a miracle for them not to be booked solid during prim time. But that's exactly what happened.Someone checked out a day early and I was able to spend the night. What a flood of emotions and memories of all the fun.Got to swim,had coffee the next morning with the sunrise. In one day I was revilized.Great place to take your family nothing really else like it.
