Everything about it was awesome! I cannot say enough about the location! The complex is in the middle of a nice neighborhood and close to everything! Being a smaller complex was so nice! While on the beach, it was not crowded at all like a big condo complex! Chairs and umbrella were included with the company setting them up was a huge bonus! Unit 117 was so nice and had everything that we needed! The property was very clean and well taken care of! Loved having the palm trees on the property! Price per night was great! Can’t wait to come back! Though so helpful and informative I got way too many emails and text before the trip.

This was our second visit to Capri. It is a smaller unit, which is a plus. The units are updated and very nice and clean. Because the property is one story, there is a lot of room on the beach, you are not packed it. You cannot get closer to the beach. Management was very friendly, good communication via text msg. Unit 117 has a smart TV but did not have traditional cable TV. I used my Comcast account on my PC for that purpose. Parking is very secure as the property is gated. I will try to stay here again.

Amazing, nostalgic retro motel converted into individual units just steps away from the beautiful white sands of the beach! This is our second year in a row to stay at Capri by the Gulf. It’s a perfect place for couples or small families. The view is amazing and just steps away to a private beach with chairs and an umbrella waiting. The condo is well kept and very clean. The rental was clean and adequately supplied. It was conveniently located to the beach. We enjoyed sitting on the deck area overlooking the beach every morning over a cuppa coffee and again in the evenings at Sunset. The beach was extremely close and made it easy to go back-and-forth to the room throughout the day when needed. The chairs and umbrellas that were made available made it very easy to set along the water and just bring a towel and bag. The office staff was extremely responsive and supportive when we had to reach out due to low battery on the keypad access to the room. Wonderful location! Great vacation!

Able to break away for a few days and were lucky enough to once again get a couple of units at the Capri. Best kept secret along old 98. Rooms were very pleasant, nicely appointed, comfortable beds, and quiet. Not to mention the direct, unobstructed view/access to the beach, beach service, and ideal location for shopping and dining. Rental and office staff were friendly, professional and helpful.

The manager gave us all the information we needed to arrive directly to the apartment: gate code, door code. The house was super clean, the kitchen is fully equipped. Comfortable bed, good bathroom, modern, like it was recently remodeled. AC unit working perfectly. No complaints about the apartment. It couldn't be closer to the beach!The apartment has two big TVs that we haven't use because we spend all of the time on the beach."Sunrise, sunburn, sunset, repeat!" This was our first time staying in Destin, FL. The condo unit was steps from the beach. Because this is a single level complex, there was no hauling items up and down in an elevator and parking is located directly in front of unit. Unit was in very good condition, with all necessary items provided. Very convenient getting in and out of complex. Management office helpful with inquires. Information provided for arrival and departure easy to follow. Would stay here again if our travels should bring us back to Destin.

Thank you for a great stay. Everything was in perfect condition, everything else was clean . No bugs no mad smells!! We are most definitely returning here. It’s a perfect unit right off the beach! We did unfortunately have to cut it early to go home because our 2 year old was scared of birds when he saw them on the beach hahaha but next year he will be more understanding ! Lol :)

it was the perfect location you could hear the ocean while sitting out in front of your door short walk to go to the beach with easy access. Much more quieter and Serene than a high-ri condominium. And it was gated and made you feel so safe. The only thing that was missing was a pool.

We have stayed at this same unit numerous times over the years. Not even sure how many, and we always have a great time. Love the location which is right on the beach. And beach service was an added perk. Only thing I question is why the Friday to Friday rental policy? We lost out on a day because we could not come in until Saturday so then of course we had to check out on Friday. This is something that had changed since the last time we stayed at Capri.

We love staying at the Capri by the Gulf. Love the small units and the best part is how close you are to the beach. We were booked for 8 days but due to the Hurricane we left after 3 days. Also, it was a 1st exp with the red tide; horrible exp.

This was our second time staying at Capri 117. It is our favorite unit so far. I loved everything about our stay except for one thing. When we arrived at 3:45 p.m. hoping to check in a little early, the office staff said it would be fine but he needed to do a quick walk thru before we checked in. He walked in the unit and discovered that it had not been cleaned yet. By this time it was 4:00 p.m. He made a phone call and said it would be cleaned ASAP and asked if there was something we could do for a while until it was cleaned. So basically we didn’t get to check in until 5:00. I know mistakes happen, but the NEW checkout time is 9:00 . It is a real struggle to get up and out by 9:00 and I think if Capri is going to impose that early of a checkout time, they should make sure the room is cleaned in a timely manner. I heard other guests also complaining about such an early checkout as well, so you may want to revisit that decision.

Even better than I thought it would be! We made the reservations on a whim and it turned out to far exceed any of our expectations from the beach, to the wonderful community deck overlooking the beach to the updated cute, comfortable accommodations! A superb place to have as your ocean destiny!!!

The apartment has a premium location, with its own incredible private beach and minutes from everything you need (wholefoods, walmart, target, restaurants, even an outlet mall). It was clean and had everything you need for a comfortable stay. We will return.

He staff was always nice and caring. Communication was also spot on and helpful. The location was very nice and quiet and loved the room we stayed in. I see was it was recommended by my son. It was the 12th vacation in Florida the first being 38 years ago when I was 18. The 6th vacation in Destin (starting 22 years ago with kids), and the 2nd or 3rd time in the Capri room 117. Destin seems to have the cleanest beaches out of all our Florida stays. The tourist areas offer a lot of what a person would expect from a nice tourist filled beach community. The quite location of the Capri, security gates, clean well stocked Ocean view rooms, and close easy access to the beach including chair & umbrella set up is what brings us (and friends) back to the Capri. The only thing that would have improved our stay would have been the old swimming pool that was lost in a storm and one of the rooms with the private Ocean view decks. I will probably try to get one of those the next time we stay in Destin.

Love driving up to our door without having to haul luggage up stairs or through a parking lot and up elevators. Very accessible. The size is perfect for 2 people. Love the deck to sit and drink coffee in the mornings watching the sunrise or margaritas in the afternoon watching the sunset. Love being steps away from the beach and our beach chair service. Personnel were friendly and helpful. Would definitely go back and tell others about our experience. Condo was clean. The bathroom though had dust bunnies on the wall by the mirror. I wish there was a vacuum cleaner to get all the sand off the floor. But other than this it was great and we will be back!!! 5 for very satisfied. 5 for condition, 5 for location, 4 for cleanliness, 5 for very professional staff.

The property description matches photos, and the property was perfectly clean. The units are located near to everything; 5 minutes or less will get you to restaurants, grocery/convenience stores, and attractions, and it takes 30 seconds to WALK to the beach. They offer pamphlets encouraging things to do in the area if that is your thing.

I had never been to Florida before and it was wonderful. The people are super friendly, Gulf was spectacular,beautiful white sandy beaches. Capri by the Gulf is my go-to vacation spot from here on. Everything was neat and clean, loved the decor. Toes in the water, toes in the sand, not a worry in the world, life was good at Capri!!!!

We had a very good experience with our rental. Since we had friends that had stayed there before, we had an idea what to expect. We were not disappointed. The accommodations was great and very comfortable. Everything was clean. The location was on the beach with a private beach and beach chair services. They were so accommodating. They set up our chairs and umbrella so that our group of 8 could all sit together. We had a great time and plan on staying in the same place next year.

I have been coming to Destin every year with my family since I was 2yrs old. I am now in my late 20's and taking my own trips on my own. This is the first time I ever stayed in the area of Crystal Beach and I am now sold on it! Capri on the Gulf was hands down the best place I've ever stayed in Destin. We usually stay in the big beachfront condos with pools, but there was something about the layout of Capri that was so enchanting! I LOVED being just steps from the beach. I also loved being able to drive right up to my front door and then not have to fight elevators. The condo was cozy, very clean, and newly decorated! The only suggestion is that the condo could use a few rugs maybe one in kitchen, one in bathroom. But other than that, we had zero complaints. We will be coming back here for years to come!

I think Capri is the best kept secret in Destin. Easy in, easy out. Right on the beach as if you have your own private beach. No struggling to park and the rooms are clean and neat. Great value in my opinion.

We absolutely loved every aspect of the stay! Beach acess was perfect. After all what are you really there for? Very relaxing with all the comforts of our own home. A plus was not having to fight elevators or srairs. Park right at our door and only steps to the beach. We loved our stay at the Capri! So nice to drive up to the door of your condo and easy to bring your luggage inside. Easy and close access to the beach ...steps from your door. The deck was wonderful to sit and drink coffee watching the sunrise in the morning or enjoy margaritas and watch the sun set in the evening. Perfect spot for couples or families. We loved everything from the gated entrance to the cozy apt. The view was amazing & the staff super friendly. My husband & boys enjoyed how close & accesible the beach was & I enjoyed having our beach chairs & umbrella. The apt was super clean, had a fully equipped kitchen roomy shower & comfortable bed. We will return again & again. We hope to make it a family tradition. The only suggestion I would make is a change machine in the laundry facility area & possibly an ice machine. Otherwise AMAZING EXPERIENCE! We even enjoyed our complimtery bottle of wine :)

The condo my husband and I stayed in was comfortable, perfect size for the two of us, and had a very "at home" atmosphere. We throughly enjoyed the easy access to the beach, restaurants, and other entertainment in the area. Everything was within a quick 5-10 minute drive from where we stayed. They also provided free use of an umbrella and lounge chairs on the beach. Those made the stay even more relaxing since we didn't have to lug those items down to the beach. The beach area was nice and clean, as was the complex itself. I would definitely choose to stay here again and bring my two children with me next time.

I gave the... Was the property management company professional? (reservation process, check in/out, etc.)..three stars because of the lack of email after reservation and no receipts or confirmation. I got two emails from them. The last being a few days before we left for Destin. Everything else I gave 5 stars
