Great little spot. Loved that the beach was steps away. Loved that our place was gated and private.
The place was a perfect size for the two of us. I recommend staying here if you are looking for a great location in Destin for a great price.

The Capri property is a hidden gem just minutes from all that Destin has to offer. This beachfront property is gorgeous and the quick door to sand access is a major plus. Not to mention the free daily beach chair and umbrella service and double space parking directly in front of each unit! The room was comfortable and came with all you need for a comfortable week at the beach. We hope to bring more family with us next year in adjacent rooms so that they can enjoy the same amazing views and experiences that my wife and I had!

As usual had a great stay. The unit was great except needs a storm door. We did have to get our own chairs one day( it had rained but cleared up ) as a result we pulled our own chairs and the "private beach " was not so private. Overall though we had a great time. See you same time next year hopefully.

Great location! Beautiful weather! Fantastic restaurants! There were 2 things that probably are an easy fix. 1. The floor needs to be steamed/deep cleaned. Husband had on new pair of white socks. When he took them off they were black. Could not get them clean. 2. Maybe leave instructions for the tv remotes in the living area. It was a big hassle. Finally had to go to the office to get a little help. And they didn't know how to work it either. BUT, we would definitely stay here again. Love the beach chairs!!! Thank you!!

We stayed July 12th- July 19th 2024. Absolute best location. Beach chair with umbrella set up every morning. The unit #104 was very clean. Would stay again at The Capri on the Gulf.

Had a wonderful 3-day vacation! Unit 104 was great. The Harmony Beach staff were very accommodating and the unit 104 met all our needs; it was clean and very well maintained. I highly recommend Harmony Beach Rentals and Capri by the Beach for your sun and sand vacation.

All good! We started staying at Capri by the Gulf a few year ago and this is the only place we stay now when we go to Destin. Like that it is gated and you can pull right up to your unit. The updated laundry facilities is great too! We have stayed in several different units. Some are a little nicer than others but for the most part they all are good. The only comments on this particular unit is the oven is rather old so the temperature is not real accurate. Please get rid of the plastic on the night stands by the tables and invest in some glass if you want to protect the table tops. The plastic did not seem that sanitary. The A/C in this unit was great, but the vent blows right on you when in bed. Would be nice to adjust where this did not happen. We have stayed in at least 5 different units at Capri and this one ranks in the top two so far. Just making some suggestions for improvement.

Perfect place with a perfect beach! I am so glad I got the opportunity to stay in this wonderful comfortable and clean condo that sits right on the Gulf of Mexico. What a treasure! I can’t wait to come back and do it all over again. Not only was the place great but it is centrally located between Destin and Miramar Beach... The best beaches in America in my opinion. My husband and I enjoyed our stay very much. This was our first experience staying here. Everything overall was comfortable and inviting. The best part is that its within walking distance to the beach and chairs and umbrella's were provided everyday. I would highly recommend this place for long or short stays. I also felt very safe and secure with the security provided.

We loved our stay! This is the closest we've ever been to the beach, literally just steps away! To have our umbrella and chairs set up and saved for us each day on the not crowded private beach when people on the beaches on both sides of ours were packed in like sardines was priceless! Unit was clean and cozy. We enjoyed the deck each night and felt so safe in the parking lot with barely any traffic thanks to the gates.

Room was everything advertised and more. My only complaint would be to have the ad would have been a little more informative. We brought a lot of kitchen items in fear that it would be poorly equipped, not the case at all, plenty of everything you need. Right on the beach, the chair set up was as advertised and convenient. Next time we go I will look to come back to the exact same room!

We wanted a quiet place to stay as the pandemic was starting. Capri was perfect. Our lives were spent in our unit and on the beach. Even though we were there during Spring Break and the surrounding beaches were crowded, there were very few people on the Capri Beach (which is private). Two trips to Whole Foods and we were able to have all of meals in our unit. We are so happy we found the Capri and made the trip.

The unit was very clean and decorated up-to-date.The sofa and chair sit REALLY LOW so it would be difficult for older people to get up. The unit only has TWO (2) coffee cups!!!! We are "coffee drinkers" so this was somewhat of a problem for us.We enjoy the Capri and have been going there for over 20 years. This is the very best vacation place in FL, as far as we are concerned! The beach is simply beautiful.

We have been coming to Destin and vicinity for nearly 30 yrs, and have tried other lodging options from Destin to Rosemary Beach and all communities in between. The Capri Motel is best kept secret all along the way. Quaint, 1950s retro-style motel set in among the high-rises, but everything inside the units is up-to-date. Quiet, clean, comfortable accommodations. Pull right up to your front door. And most certainly close to everything that Destin has to offer. Steps to the beach, with beach service provided, which is always a plus. Front desk staff (Carole) are always helpful, friendly, and accommodating. Will continue to stay here when available, and recommended to friends/family.

This was the first time we stayed in this unit and it was very nice. If I had to point out one thing it would be the stove-it was very small and we always like to do a shrimp boil when we are down and although we made it work on the little stove a larger one would have made cooking much easier. The unit furniture was very comfortable (the king bed was amazingly comfortable) and we had a great time. I would also like to point out that even though the Capri has gone smoke free - which we were thrilled about because our grand-daughter was with us and has Cystic Fibrosis - we still had to deal with the gentleman across the way smoking cigars on his deck and down on the beach. One last thing, apparently the gate broke and wouldn't shut so on Friday and Saturday there were many, many people just walking off the street and on down to the beach through the complex.

Love this place! It’s small & older units but it’s perfect for us! It’s so convenient to the beach & love being able to walk to a few nice places to eat. This unit was updated so it was very nice. Loved that it had 2 closets. Sleeper was not so comfy but most aren’t. The bedroom has some electrical issues; light won’t stay on. Meant to call & let Harmony know but forgot about it after we left. Would definitely stay in this unit again. We already have another trip booked in early October. Best time of the year to visit in my opinion. I’ve stayed here many times & usually guest services is wonderful but during this reservation not so much. I had to cancel because of unforeseen circumstances & was able to call back & reschedule but they weren’t so friendly on my call back. Still a great company to book through.

We were in Nashville on the Sunday of Father’s Day and decided at 3pm to go toDestin. Gave Capri a call and they were able to accommodate us. We ended up staying 3 full days. Love the condo’s right on the beach. Thanks to Connie and the front office for another great memory.

This was our second visit to a Capri. You cannot beat the convenience. We love that you’re steps from the beach and the chairs are waiting for you! We pulled in and were on the beach within minutes. Check in and access are super easy. This is Destin without the overcrowded, busy feel. Your car is steps away from your condo when you’re ready to venture out. This is so convenient when you have kids and lots of stuff in tow. Relaxing with no hassle... that’s what vacation is all about!!! We will return again!

Great no frills 1 bedroom condo just steps from the beach!!! Get there early and they let us in at 1PM which made for an extra great day at the beach in the provided beach chairs with umbrella. Very nice folks checked us in.
