Spanning three levels, this coastal retreat offers a mix of relaxation, fun, and thoughtful amenities. Enjoy a bright, open living space and a fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances and a cozy breakfast nook. The home comfortably sleeps 12 with a king in the master suite (with private balcony), a full bed in one guest room, a kid-friendly bunk room with a twin-over-full and twin trundle, and a queen sleeper sofa. The spacious loft features a double queen setup, perfect for older kids or extra guests along with foosball table and gaming device. All bedrooms include flat-screen TVs, and the master ensuite boasts a luxurious walk-in shower. Outside, enjoy the yard with cornhole and grill under the gazebo. At By the Ocean Blue, comfort meets coastal charm—creating the perfect setting for your next beachside escape.

Area Attractions:

Crystal Beach is a terrific residential area, yet close to restaurants and activities in Destin. Walk to close-by restaurants such as the award-winning 790 Inn on the Gulf or Camille's, get your fro-yo on at U-Twirl Frozen Yogurt, or learn how to ride the waves at All-A Board Surf School.

Close by is Destin Commons, a beautifully landscaped, pedestrian-friendly area and a great family venue where children will love to play in the interactive water fountains. Also, for the younger guests, a nautically/pirate-themed outdoor playground features a 1,750 square foot soft play area with various creatures from the sea, slides, and a treasure chest! Destin Commons also has a mini-train for the kids. Destin Commons features over 75 shops and restaurants, including Godiva Chocolates, AMC Movie Theaters, and Bass Pro Shop.

If you are near Miramar Beach, the snorkelers in your group will love the new artificial reef called Dolphin Reef, deployed in 2017. Located just 685 feet straight out from the Miramar Regional Public Beach access (by Pompano Joe's), it is becoming a haven for sea life. Each of the 4 snorkeling reefs comprises 40 acres of permitted sea bottom. The Dolphin Reef is at a depth of 12-20 feet. We strongly recommend that snorkelers use a kayak, paddleboard, or other flotation device when visiting the snorkel reefs. Sea conditions can and do change quickly and often. Enjoy!

The house was perfect for me and my family! It allowed the adults to have their own space while the kids had the loft with the game system. The loft was bigger than the pictures and it had a small room off to the side that had an additional bed for them. I would highly recommend that you book it for your family vacation. The neighbors both visitors and the people who lived there were so nice and welcoming. The communication between the hosts and us was very pleasant and helpful. They had quite an assortment of games for rainy days and pool/beach items for fun in the sun.

the location is even more beautiful in person! there's a bit of a snag initially getting into the house and for some reason the address on Google kept pointing us to a different location and where the apartment was actually at. Once we got into the house it was a beautiful location and we really enjoyed being there. So glad my family and I selected this location and would do it again when we return.

We had an amazing stay and would definitely recommend this place! The house was super clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. The host was great, really responsive and made sure our arrival went smoothly. When we mentioned the propane tank was empty, they quickly helped to address it. The house also had sand toys, beach chairs, and a wagon, which was such a nice bonus. Only suggestion for the future would be adding a golf cart that would make it perfect!

We had a great stay at this beach house — the location couldn’t be more convenient, just three blocks from the beach. The place was comfortable and well-kept, making it easy to relax and enjoy my time there. One suggestion for improvement would be to offer bicycles or a golf cart for guests, which would make getting around even easier and more fun. Overall, a wonderful spot for a beach getaway.

Beautiful home. Spacious and very accommodating for our family vacation. 5-10 minute walk to beach, few steps to the pool and lots of hangout space both indoor and outside. Very responsive team that quickly addressed any questions or concerns. Would absolutely book again.
