Beachful Bliss

We enjoyed our stay and the home had all that we needed, within the house as well as things for the beach. The rooms we’re good sizes and the porches was a great place to spend the evening nights. We thought the house had a small pool as we looked at the the photos but it was located within the community pool area. To get to the beach you will need to rent a golf car or drive about 5-10 minutes, depending on the area of the beach you would like to enjoy. The community is nice but not walk able due to the tightness of the streets (no sidewalks, and inclines ). The home comes with bikes, which we used to tour the the bottom of the hill of the community.

This is a nice home with everything you need. We moved to this location a day before our trip due to problems with the original place we booked. This home is in the back of the neighborhood (too bad there isn't a back entrance!) and a little bit further from the beach than we are used to however, the walking trail is right behind the house and that is convenient. We went at an off time (early May) so the beach was not too crowded. If this was in the hot and crowded summertime getting on and off the beach would probably be more of a hassle. We were happy with the home and communication with the rental company.

Great location, beautiful house, slightly disappointed that they did not offer any laundry detergent, hand soap, paper towels, and just enough TP for a few days. I’d rather them add $100 to the rental and provide a few of these things. I messaged them with a few questions and very quick response. Jessica was on top of it!!

Nice little house in a lovely subdivision. It's a bit of a longer walk to the beach than I had hoped, but can be done in about 30 minutes. There were bikes for the kids to use, so not too bad. Probably the best thing was the responsiveness of the rental company. I had to reach out to them several times, and they were incredibly responsive. I'll check them out first when we book for next year. It's a little farther from the beach than I thought, at the back of a subdivision. The closest beach was Blue Mountain, and they have practically no parking at all.

This is a beautiful home. It was spacious and very clean. The beach was a little far with a bout a 16 minute walk but they provided bikes which was a nice touch. The pool was beautiful. My family enjoyed the trip and already considering another trip next year to explore more.

The house is lovely and the location is nice. Close to pool, backs up to woods, quick 10 minute walk to the beach out the back via the trail. Bikes were handy to have. Pretty quick walk to the pool. Real joy was super helpful and responsive. There is room for three cars or 2 cars and a golf cart, so don’t let that deter you. Our only complaint was the carpets in the bedrooms. Otherwise the house was even better than the pictures.

We had a lovely stay in this beautiful home. The back porch is so peaceful, and the second floor balcony is great. The master bedroom is spacious, and the living areas are comfortable. All of the closets are large, and the bathrooms are nice. The upstairs bedrooms are small but nicely decorated, with approximately full sized beds. One of the three upstairs bedrooms has a bed big enough for two small/average sized adults. We were disappointed with the size of beds, carpet stains upstairs and lightbulbs out in the bathrooms. The kitchen is very minimal on cooking supplies (no salt & pepper, no baking sheets, no utensils for the outdoor grill). There are broken drawers in the refrigerator. Our coffeemaker was small and stopped working. To their credit, RealJoy customer service provided a replacement within hours. We really appreciated that!

If you are looking for a clean, conveniently located stay at Blue Mountain Beach, look no further! This place was EXACTLY as presented. My family and I enjoyed our entire stay. We rented a golf cart that we used to get to the public beach access (1.4 miles away) and neighborhood pool. Our days were spent at the pool and beach but we thoroughly enjoyed our family evenings in the beach house, cooking dinner and playing various board and card games. Honestly, we have no complaints and we look forward to booking again next year!

My family LOVED this home...so much that we extended our reservations for one more day...location is great, plenty of restaurants near by...fyi some restaurants require reservations so call before going...the pool and looking tower were awesome..pool was way to cold...but we still enjoyed ourselves...maybe there should be a map for getting to the beach access because the spot we went to had many private areas where we couldnt sit on the beach...the home itself was beautiful...beds a little uncomfortable, but who cares about sleep on vacay?. Loved the master bathroom...very convenient location to where we just rented golf carts and drove those everywhere. Overall experience I give a 10 out of 10...loved this place and may book again next year.

We enjoyed our stay. The house was spacious and included lots of extra blankets and pillows. The kids loved the bicycles and porch swing. It was a bit of a walk to the pool, but having the bikes helped. There were ants in the pantry, but someone came and sprayed as soon as we called and we didn’t have anymore problems.

Real Joy’s place was amazing. It looked way bigger than the pictures and near the beach. My favorite was the jacuzzi in the community. Our stay was lovely and they were very responsive. The only downside was not enough tissue. Other than that, it was Awesome!

This house was beautifully decorated and in a quiet community. We were able to feel completely at home. Backed up to Mount Washington State park. This is a full pine forest which was the best of both worlds being on the Emerald Coast beaches.

There is nothing you won't love about this house. Extremely comfortable and beautifully decorated. Location was a breeze and convenient to all things 30A. Community pool and other amenities made it extra special. Master king bed was very comfortable. We loved our stay here.

Wonderful stay. Close to a small beach without a lot of people. Loved the ice cream shop. The pool is wonderful. It’s a little walk with a good hill , but only a couple blocks. We dropped all our stuff off at the pool with our teens and took the van back to the house and then my husband and I had a nice quiet walk back to the pool. All along 30A is an amazing place to visit. We drove an hour to Panama City Beach and went on the “Sea Screamer” dolphin tour, (TOTALLY WORTH IT) and then drove 40 min the other way to Destin and took the Sunventure II to Crab Island.
Tips for the house:

extra garbage bags
-Drive to Publix for groceries, not many convenience stores around.

Gorgeous home -- tons of cabinet, pantry and closet space. Beautiful, huge shower in master bedroom downstairs, plus nice bathrooms upstairs as well. Full size washer and dryer made it easy to keep up with everyone's laundry. Having the 4 bikes in the garage made it super easy to to the 5 mile ride into Seaside. Only a 10 minute or less stroll to homemade ice cream or public beach access if you use the trail accessible immediately behind the home. Community pool/hot tub/firepit/grill area were very nice as well! An excellent find that suited our group of 7 perfectly for spring break!

The home was 4BR/3.5 baths, very spacious, and absolutely gorgeous. The decor was beautiful and the home was very comfortable. The 3 porches were excellent. The housing complex was under construction as new homes were being built all around, but we did not hear the construction (or maybe they had stopped working because of Hurricane Nate?). The home was at the back of the complex, so it backed up to the woods, making the home peaceful and feel separate from the rest of the homes. The only downside is that it was a bit of a hike to the pool/fire pit/tower area and there isn't a place to park there. You can walk (there is a hill) or ride your bike, but we had an elderly person and a small child, so it made getting to this area a little challenging. Nevertheless, we loved it and would rent again.
