Terra Cotta Terrace is a luxury development of Mediterranean-style homes in the highly sought-after Crystal Beach area. The neighborhood has a gated beach access just across Scenic Hwy 98. Close by is Destin Commons, a beautifully landscaped, pedestrian-friendly area and a great family venue where children will love to play in the interactive water fountains. Also, for the younger guests, a nautically/pirate-themed outdoor playground features a 1,750 square foot soft play area with various creatures from the sea, slides, and a treasure chest! Destin Commons also has a mini train for the kids. Destin Commons features over 75 shops and restaurants, including Godiva Chocolates, AMC Movie Theaters, and Bass Pro Shops.

All the excitement of Destin is just minutes away: a choice of watersports, golf, amusement parks, and outlet shopping. One glimpse of Destin beaches and you're hooked. It must be the wide, white beaches and the famous emerald waters. Not to mention the fabulous fishing, the world's most beautiful beaches, addictive seafood and the full array of activities for kids of all ages, and more fun to be found in Destin.

If you are near Miramar Beach, the snorkelers in your group will love the new artificial reef called Dolphin Reef, deployed in 2017. Located just 685 feet straight out from the Miramar Regional Public Beach access (by Pompano Joe's), it is becoming a haven for sea life. Each of the 4 snorkeling reefs comprises 40 acres of permitted sea bottom. The Dolphin Reef is at a depth of 12-20 feet. We strongly recommend that snorkelers use a kayak, paddleboard, or other flotation device when visiting the snorkel reefs. Sea conditions can and do change quickly and often. Enjoy!

We originally planned to stay for a few days, but extended three days more as we loved our stay. Great property, clean and inviting. The staff is very friendly and responsive. Great communication and daily information. Private beach access was within 6 minutes walk. However, it would be great if the pool would be covered with a lanai or at least, a less flimsy pool pole would be provided to clean the bottom of the small pool, covered with insects or plant material every day. We are no strangers to pools as we have a very large pool at home. The property we rented is pet friendly, however, one neighbors is not, I won't go into details in this review. :)

We had only 2 concerns. The first was the tv. It was hard to find channels. The 2nd issue, which is really not your fault, but when we opened the blinds at the dining room table, the house next door had a pile of old lawn chairs and other things that didn’t need to be there. Just not a pleasant site. Besides of those concerns, all went well, and we loved our stay. We will continue to stay with you in the future.

Property was great! House and private pool were perfect for our stay. Easy walk to the private beach as well as others within a short drive. Many food options. Close to great little place, Sandos which was great for coffee, pastries, sandwiches and an upstairs bar. Communication with host was easy via text or phone. Very responsive to minor requests and resolved quickly. Will definitely book again!
