Highland Parks is the newest neighborhood in Blue Mountain Beach featuring a fantastic neighborhood pool with a waterfall, hot tub, gazebo, fire pit, snack bar, and observation tower. The area is the highest point in South Walton County and is surrounded by great eateries and local eclectic shops. Highland Parks is perfectly situated between Redfish Village and Gulf Place Town Center on Hwy 30A! Enjoy dining at local favorites The Perfect Pig, Red Door, Local Catch, or Basmati's. AREA ATTRACTIONS:

Seaside is a fantastic destination, most widely known for being featured in the Truman Show with Jim Carrey. Its incredible architecture has helped to make it famous but also its faithful replication of the kind of seaside town that used to be common up and down the coast. Seaside has its own Farmer's Market, post office, Repertory Theater, and neighborhood school. It boasts unique shopping, fantastic cuisine, and incredible architecture that makes Seaside famous. There are activities for everyone; kayak rentals, bike rentals, paragliding, fishing, golfing, hiking, swimming, tennis -- you'll find it all right here.

Bike over to Blue Mountain Beach Creamery for some homemade scoops that will have your taste buds coming back! You'll have an array of dining options to choose from!

The snorkelers in your group will love the new artificial reef called Sea Turtle Reef, deployed in 2017. Located just 783 feet out from the Grayton Beach State Park access, it is becoming a haven for sea life. Each of the 4 snorkeling reefs comprises 40 acres of permitted sea bottom. The Sea Turtle Reef is at a depth of 12-19 feet. We strongly recommend that snorkelers use a kayak, paddleboard, or other flotation device when visiting the snorkel reefs. Sea conditions can and do change quickly and often. Enjoy!

The house and neighborhood were beautiful, and close to the surrounding attractions. The neighborhood is so peaceful and charming.
My husband didn't want to leave the shower in the master bedroom, and is already missing it now that we're home.
Maybe for the future renters, let them know there's no complementary coffee, sugar or salt packets to start them out during their stay, and perhaps instructions on how to work the different television remotes (for older generation type people lol), and directions to the closest grocery stores would be helpful.
But for future renters: if you're waffling on whether to rent here or not - waffle no more and just rent this beautiful house!

We had originally booked a trip to Myrtle Beach but with Hurricane Debby we had to pivot last minute. However, so glad we did we had a blast. The house, and neighborhood were great! Security was always patrolling the neighborhood and felt super safe. There is a coffee shop, ice cream shop + more that is walkable distance from the house just right outside the neighborhood. A little bit down the road you will find souvenir shops, and restaurants in a cute little community. The house was a tad bit further from the beach than we would have liked but gulf carts are able to be dropped off at your house and made things much more simple with little ones. Overall it was a great time and I would definitely recommend.

As far as the place and stay everything was as described with plenty of room for our family. The only complaint I would have about our stay would be the beach parking is very limited all through out the Santa Rosa area but other than that the beach was great water was great overall great stay.

We loved our stay at this house! It was a great location to the beach (10 minute walk) and the pool at the property was really nice as well. The house was kept very clean, beds were comfortable and the response time was very prompt when we had a question. We had 6 little kids staying at the house and felt like it was a perfect spot for a family trip/ family friendly. We would definitely recommend this place!

Wonderful Beach House

Best rental ever! Great neighborhood! Enjoyed the golf cart and bicycles more than expected! I’m 64 and rode a bike for the first time in many many years! Loved the house and space for our family! I hope to be back!

We absolutely loved our stay! This house was clean and well equipped with everything we needed. Loved having the bikes and golf cart! It was in the perfect location for relaxation but close enough to beaches, restaurants and shops! The pool was amazing. We will definitely be coming back.

Great house

There was 11 of us total, 6 adults and 5 children. There was plenty of space for everyone., all the kids bunked together. House was very clean, bathrooms were spotless. Kitchen is very spacious and we cooked many meals. Kids enjoyed the back patio. The golf cart was an absolute must for going to the beach. This was so great to have, and we loved it Overall, property was fantastic!

Good family place

Good pre-communication and easy check-in with the codes. The house was clean and nice. Very little in the way of supplies but there was a little dish soap, 2 laundry pods, a paper towel roll and toilet paper in each bathroom. Enough to get us by until we went to the store. The kitchen items were sparse and not the best quality. There was only one small cookie sheet and it was very used and dirty. There were no pool bracelets upon arrival and we didn’t notice until after 5 pm when the office was closed. We just went ahead to the pool and a security guy let us in when we showed him our pool gate code and confirmation email. Management brought the bracelets the next day around 11am after getting my voicemail from the night before. Not a big issue since no one ever asked to see the bracelets. Golf cart and bikes were fun and useful. Plenty of room for parking between the driveway and garage. Nice place for our family of 10.
