I recently booked a vacation through RealJoy, and while the condo itself was fine, the overall process left me disappointed.
From the very beginning, every time I spoke with someone over the phone, I felt like I was being given unnecessary problems. Instead of being helpful, the staff on the phone made the process more difficult and left me feeling stressed before my trip even began. On top of that, I felt unfairly profiled because of my age. I am between 21–25 years old, and according to RealJoy’s own policy, guests in this age group do need a parent or guardian present to rent a condo and is stupid. Despite meeting that requirement, I was still treated as though I wasn’t capable or responsible enough.
The experience changed when I arrived in person. The people at the office were actually very nice and reassured me that I didn’t even need to come into the office to check in. This was confusing, because it was the opposite of what I was told over the phone.

This place was perfect for us! We had our family and grandkids with us and it was the perfect distance from the beach and the pools were always cool and refreshing!
Everything was well-taken care of (all of the property). When I needed help, they called me immediately after I sent a message and helped (at 2am, no less)!
Beds were super comfy! There was great water pressure in the shower with enough hot water for everyone to have a warm shower! And the balcony was perfect for breakfasting with a view of the ocean!
My young grandchildren loved the bunk beds and we all felt right at home! We were sad to leave our little paradise but hope to return soon!

I will definitely stay at this condo again. The unit was very clean, spacious, comfortable, nicely decorated, quiet, and in great location. It is a short walk to the beach and has an awesome view of the ocean. There are four elevators but the unit is on the 22nd floor, so sometimes elevators are slow especially on check out day. The master bedroom and bathroom have adequate amount of space for personal belongings. The closet is shut closed but it really didn’t cause problems. The guest bedroom and bathroom are smaller but still comfortable. The third “bedroom” with the bunkbed is not really a bedroom. It’s more like a large closet space right at the entrance door. It’s fine for sleeping but nothing more. The sofa bed in the living is not that comfortable but it’s okay. The kitchen has everything one would need for food preparations. The balcony is also spacious. There are several beach chairs and other items stored in a big bin in the balcony. The walls are thick enough that we didn’t hear our neighbors at all. The swimming pools are clean. There is a bar restaurant on the ground floor that serves good food. There are other restaurants within walking distance in the neighborhood. The host or rental company is responsive to questions. Check in amd check out are simple and easy. Why I’m giving four stars instead of five stars? There are a few inconveniences though they are not deal breakers. The ceiling light in guest bedroom doesn’t turn on (there’s a lamp on the nightstand). The dishwasher doesn’t clean very well. The clothes dryer keeps turning off after a few minutes. It only stays on if it’s set on “Timed Dry”. The corrners of the bedframe in the master bedroom have sharp edges and bedframe is too big for the mattress set. We had to pad the corners so that we wouldn’t get hurt. The shower in the master bathroom cannot be easily set to comfortable water temperature but it still works. Towels and toilet plunger are stored together under the sink in guest bathroom. Pillow cases of extra pillows and blankets stored in the guest bedroom closet didn’t look washed. So, we had to wash the towels and linens. We didn’t inform the rental company of these issues because we didn’t want to waste our vacation time dealing with the issues and didn’t want service people coming over. Again, we would stay at the condo again.

We had a great stay. Easy to find, location to the beach and restaurants was great. The outlets are a mile away- great shopping. The beds were extremely comfortable. There is a walk to the beach- so if you have kids or chairs, you probably want to bring a wagon. But there were plenty of beach toys and chairs for us at the condo. Would stay again!

Our stay at this condo was great. The location is excellent, the views from the balcony were great, and the beds are really comfortable. We didn’t actually have to contact Real Joy about anything, but they stayed in touch via text to check on us. The pools were nice too. One thing they don’t have that we thought they might, is a Keureg. We did use the old fashioned Mr. Coffee maker though, which was fine.

From the moment we arrived (before, really), we had everything we needed for a smooth experience. Door codes provide for a keyless experience that’s a win for all. Parking is ample and the residents are all very pleasant. Access to the beach is literally a block away and the walk is all via sidewalk with extra consideration for pedestrian traffic. The beach is beautiful and I love that the condo affords a view of the beach condition flag so you know at any time whether you will be allowed in the water or not (for safety). The pools at the condo are great and readily accessible. We had a blast and the value was definitely there for our group of 4!

This condo offers a gorgeous view on both sides. The balcony is the perfect spot for sunrises and sunsets. Also, top notch customer service. We called about 6:30 one evening, regarding an issue with the air conditioner. A tech was there within an hour. Highly recommend this property.

This was the perfect spot for our group! Ocean view, not a far walk down to the beach, two pools! Plenty to keep us busy! Near grocery stores, restaurants, souvenir shops, you name it! We would absolutely book and stay here again! There were 8 of us total and we all fit comfortably!
Only two negatives were we had no DVD player, and ran out of trash bags and laundry soap during hurricane landfall lol. We brought movies just in case we had a rainy day inside, and we couldn’t play them :( also, we didn’t know we had to bring our own laundry soap, toilet paper, and trash bags… so we went to the store for staples…. And didn’t know we didn’t have extra until we had run out. Just simple things! Nothing catastrophic, just would have been nice to know for planning purposes. I’ve stayed in BnBs that have your staples, and have stayed where they don’t.
