This was my families first time to the Miramar/Destin area and first time using Airbnb. We were a little nervous of both, but we could not have asked for a better place to stay. The location and condo (Ariel Dunes I) were perfect, along with the amazing view of the Gulf.
It looked just like the pictures and had all the listed amenities. Customer service was exceptional as they called a few times to check in and see how things were going and if we needed anything. We will definitely book with RealJoy for future vacations.

We had a fantastic stay at Ariel Dunes unit 2008 in Destin this week! The 2-bedroom condo had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing vacation. The unit was clean, well-stocked, and exactly as described.
The breathtaking view from the balcony was definitely a highlight—it was the perfect spot for morning coffee and evening sunsets. Check-in and communication were smooth and hassle-free, which made everything even more enjoyable.

We loved our stay at Ariel Dunes 1! The host was very responsive, the condo was clean, and the balcony view was great. Aside from not being directly on the beach, we would take our chairs and umbrella down to the beach around 6am to get a good spot and could leave it all day without worrying about anyone taking them! I would suggest bringing toilet paper and trash bags because the ones they provided were so small and thin. They filled up fast and ripped so easily. All in all, we will be back next year. We absolutely loved the location, the staff was great, and it was very peaceful at night.

We had an amazing time. The view eas breath taking. We previously stayed at this resort for our family reunion trip to Destin in 2024 and loved it so much that we decided stay again this time for our anniversary. The area is great! It's close to all the attractions and good eats. We highly recommend checking out The Outcast Restaurants. They're all close by and we throughly enjoyed their seafood restaurant as well as their bar and grill. We will definitely stay again. Actually, when you pick a RealJoy vacation home, you've picked a winner.

This is our 3rd stay at Ariel Dunes and this was by far our favorite unit. We love staying at Ariel Dunes because of the beach proximity and how close it is to our favorite spots in town. This unit is beautifully decorated and the balcony was perfect for our family of four to enjoy the view, even on the rainy day. The black out curtains really did the job to keep the room dark at night. We'll be back again next year and hope to stay here again. The only issue we had was the door lock malfunctioning, but we contacted the host and it was fixed right away.

Every year we love to come to Destin and we try to stay in the Miramar location. This condo had such a nice view everything inside is the same shown on the pictures. It felt like you were home and my kids absolutely loved it. The views were just amazing the only thing was the walk to the beach on a hot sunny day …it took about 10 minutes with kids lol

This place has the prettiest view! Pictures do no justice. When I arrived I was a little intimidated at the size of the resort and a little nervous about finding the unit itself, but it wasn’t bad at all. The unit is right outside of the elevator and the elevator is really close to the pool. You walk through a parking lot and a street to get to the beach which isn’t too far and if you rent a golf cart, even better. It’s close to everything. You can see the beach from the living room (and the kitchen because it’s all open) and also from the master bedroom which is so nice. As soon as we walked in we were welcomed to jazz music and a beautiful view which was SO relaxing after our 5 hour drive. It was very clean except for laundry left in the laundry basket from previous guests. Kinda a little gross, but considering how nice the condo was, we looked past that because everything else was so clean. We went with kids and it was perfect. Will stay again!

Exactly as described! Cleanest Airbnb I have EVER been to! Everything was very clear as far as check in, parking, using resort amenities, location, beach access, etc.
As for the resort itself, it was very nice and quiet over the month of December. Walking to the beach was a daily activity for us as it is so close to the resort. There are many activities, restaurants, grocery stores, malls, and more even within walking distance. The beach was also pristine! Just make note that the pools are not heated up over the “off-season” but we swam so much in the crystal clear ocean that we didn’t care one bit that the pools weren’t swimmable. The ocean was more fun anyways we took snorkels and saw all kinds of creatures in the clear water!
We loved having a full fridge and kitchen for our long stay as making a meal and eating on the balcony overlooking the water was one of the highlights of the apartment. Watching the sunset from the bedroom balcony was a daily activity for us too!

When I come back this is a must book again it had everything that you needed we had one problem with the fridge called maintenance and they was there the next day with no problem! The only little problem that I actually had was the toilet it wasn't clean it was black stuff around the rim inside the toilet other then THAT THIS IS A PLACE TO STAY

This property was amazing! My husband and I had a peaceful positive experience here and everything was as described. The view breathtaking. I actually slept better on the master king size bed than on my own bed at home which is an outrageously over rated & over priced Tempurpedic. Everything was beautiful. The bedroom carpet is a little worn and could use replacement but we have no complaints only a couple of suggestions/warnings. 1. We were confused about which of the 2 Ariel Dunes building our reservation was in. I didn't realize that there were 2 buildings until we got there and I don't remember any reference made of the 2 builds. So FYI, there is a Ariel Dunes 1 and a Ariel Dunes 2. 2. A code is provided for keyless entry, after the code is entered you must turn the lock immediately to complete the unlocking of the door then turn the door knob to enter. To lock the door when leaving, enter code, turn the lock and then turn the door knob to ensure it is locked. 3. Instructions for the washing machine would be helpful. You would think between 2 moderately intelligent experienced people could figure it out but it was not an intuitive experience. The dryer is a no brainer. 3. This is a warning & suggestion, watch out for the footboard of the master bed. It is a beautiful bed but the footboard is hidden by the bedspread and my husband and I hit our legs and stubbed our toes on the corners until I pulled the bedspread to the side and placed a colorful beach towel over the sharp corners. We had a wonderful 5 nights 4 days here and will highly recommend Ariel Dunes 2008!

Such a great place to stay! Will definitely be back! I was worried about not staying right on the sand like I have before but I didn’t even notice! We still had an amazing view (ocean is much closer than it appears in pictures) and the walk to the beach was so short and safe! I was concerned about the walk being unsafe for me and my daughter to walk alone through the parking lot but it wasn’t at all! Just hop on the elevator which is right by your door and walk down though the parking lot and across the crosswalk and your on the sand! There was always people and employees around so I never felt worried making that walk! Less than 5 minutes and you’re on the sand! Very clean and spacious!

This place was perfect for our family five with kids ages 13, 10 and 7. The walk to the beach is very easy! Gorgeous view though not for anyone afraid of heights! Great location to grocery store and any immediate needs. Check in was very easy and unit was lovely. Both bedrooms are large and the bathrooms as well. Plenty of room! Our two youngest shared the pullout couch easily. Nice big balcony with two entrances. The last day we opted to rent the beach chairs and umbrella through the beach service rather than lugging our own and it was worth every penny!

This was a super clean condo with an amazing view of the ocean. Updated appliances with all of the necessities. Could not have been better! Loved it and will come back again!
