We loved the condo and nothing could beat the view of the ocean from the balcony. Just enough room for my husband and I. One particular front desk worker wasnt very friendly to us the evening we checked in but we didnt let it ruin our get away. The wooden chairs outside by the ocean are not a free service to you if you dont book through the Actual Raquet Club. One day we paid 57 for the day to rent the chairs but regretted it. They were in horrible shape. But back to the good stuff the condo was nicer in person and we would stay there again.

The washer/dryers take quarters & cards. There weren’t any hooks outside on our balcony so we had to hang our beach towels on the chairs outside (you can’t hang anything off the railing) This condo is in the corner by itself right off the elevator so it was great with kids. It has all kinds of beach stuff in the closet & the best part was that it was stocked with plenty of blankets! lol Location was good, when we didn’t want to go out we just door dashed stuff & they were able to find it with ease!!

Condo was fantastic and exactly as advertised. Check in/out process was very easy. Facilities on property were in great condition and well kept. Staff were very polite as well! While we did not have any issues the property managers checked in upon arrival and provided us with info if anything did arise so that it could quickly be addressed. We loved our stay at this cute 1-bed/1-bath condo in Destin. We have never been to the Emerald Coast and we loved every moment! The property manager was very communicative with reminders about directions, how to check in, and departure directions. So convenient to just go down the elevator and walk to the pool or right to the beautiful ocean. Even the woman who checked us in at the front desk lobby was so sweet & helpful. Thank you for a brief but great stay!

Place was great. Clean and up-to-date. good view of beach from balcony. Complex also had pool and tennis/pickleball courts available. Got a chance to play pickleball, which was nice (can get equipment from front desk for free). There were also chairs and umbrellas in the closet for the beach so you don’t have to rent. Would stay here again.

Wonderful place to stay — great view of the gulf and the beach, quiet area, and close to so many delicious restaurants and things to do or checkout!
Great amenities at Holiday Surf & Ratchet Club: beautiful pool, tennis / pickleball courts, and shuffleboard.
The beach is beautiful! One difference from the listing for this unit, during my visit, beach service was roughly $35 for half a day and $55 for a full day (included two chairs and an umbrella). It’s an outside company, no affiliated with Holiday Surf.
Overall, would stay here again!

We've never stayed anywhere that my wife didnt at least point out something that couldve been cleaned better (i never notice). We had excellent communication. All employees on grounds were friendly. We loved the stay at the Surf and Racquet. Although the weather was spotty, we got to do everything (beach, tennis, pickleball). The condo is lovely, well appointed and clean. The view is wonderful. Having a pool right over the balcony and then tennis, then beach in your view makes the whole thing kinda interesting lol. It's a great view. The deal is wonderful too. Some caveats: this unit is in the middle corner part of the L shape of the club, so the balcony half-faces the balcony of the other unit on the L corner, a little awkward as it feels like they are in your unit. But 95% of the time there was nobody around. Although it's a surf and "racquet club", there's really just 2 tennis courts (with pickleball lines), so it's no more a racquet club than the two condos adjacent which also have tennis courts. As tennis players, we think they should take a little better care of their nets (no center straps), but the surfaces were fine we made good use of it. Also convenient that the laundry was a short walk away on the same 4th floor, not the case for other floors. And the elevators moved very fast and we rarely waited. Suggestion to the owner: might wanna include a few extra pillows rather than just 2 in the master BR since a lot of people sleep with extra pillows (e.g. me lol). We loved the stay. BTW the TV didn't connect to Netflix when we were there but we used our PC instead so didn't raise with the owner, but the WiFi was no problem and that was fine.

My family and I had a fantastic stay at this co dominion. The condo's unbeatable convenience to nearby attractions made our vacation even more enjoyable. The stunning ocean view from the condo was a true highlight, and the dedicated staff on the premises made us feel truly welcome. The condo itself had everything we needed for cooking, which was a big plus. The only downside was the pricey beach chair rental at $53.00 a day, but we found a more budget-friendly option at a nearby store. We discovered that we could get an umbrella and chairs for just $110 at the nearby Winn Dixie. Overall, our experience was relaxing, memorable, and full of positive moments.

The room was very clean, organized, spacious, and updated! Lots of nice dishes, utensils, and plenty of cookware. The condo staff was amazing, always friendly and ready to help at all times. The view in this room is AMAZING - it overlooks the ocean/beach, racquet ball courts, and pool area! Honestly, everyone staying in the building were family oriented and very friendly, my pregnant fiancé, myself, and our 13 yo felt very welcomed and made friends! Restaurants/Shops/Entertainment is only 5-10 minutes away and Ubers are $8-$10 to mostly everything. If you and your family are looking for a perfect condo on a beautiful beach with lots of fun do yourselves a favor and stay here!
FYI: this condo does not come with the rental beach chairs/umbrella that are all lined up on the beach.

We were really pleased to find an oceanfront condo to rent for the price we paid. We enjoyed the location, as far as being close to restaurants and bars. The property itself is sort of dated and basic, but we were comfortable and it served our needs. We would definitely stay at Holiday Surf & Racquet club again.
