We enjoyed our stay at Fun in the Sun! The property was very clean and in a gated community. It had a lot of things to do such as corn hole, bball, and beach bikes. Great communication from Real Joy. Would definitely be interested in booking in the future!

Don’t look anywhere else—just book this place! If you like the pictures of this house, you’ll love it even more in person. The photos truly don’t do it justice. I booked this home last minute for a multigenerational family trip: 3 teenagers, 2 grandparents, and 2 parents. And I’m so glad I chose it.
I had a tough crowd to please, but this house had everything we needed and more. It’s walking distance to a beautiful beach and loaded with activities to keep everyone entertained: basketball, foosball, bikes, video games, you name it!
The customer service was phenomenal. As someone who also runs an Airbnb, I know how challenging it is to deliver a smooth experience, and this team gets two thumbs up from me!

The home was very clean, spacious and had everything you could need while on vacation. There were plenty of bath towels and linens for our 7 day stay. My family loved playing corn hole and using the extras the home provided in the garage. The pool is a short walk down the street. The beach entrance is a little farther by foot but my whole family was able to do the walk, even my 70 year old parents. Keep in mind the beach access are steps only so pack light as you will have to carry everything down the steps. I loved the private beach area which was awesome since we were avoiding large crowds due to COVID. The property management was very helpful and replaced the grill propane tank quickly once I notified them it was empty. We definitely will be back!

The property was in a great location. The house was very well manicured and clean inside and out. There were plenty of amenities including all the kitchen appliances and beach wagons and chairs that we could use. We appreciated the indoor and outdoor games as well as the pool and beach access, and all the safety measures of the neighborhood. Small things could have been improved….the Keurig didn’t work. Communication on how the Hollywood vehicle gate only worked one way could have prevented delays. The dryer took quite a long time to actually dry clothes.

Cute house near community pool. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook meals (including cupcakes for a birthday), plenty of dishes, and silverware. We did have an issue with the upstairs master bathroom toilet, we called the 24-hour maintenance number and they had someone out within an hour. We also ran out of propane for the grill, called the 24-hour number and they had someone out in 20 minutes. He replaced the tank and made sure everything worked before leaving the house. There was an issue with winged ants (also looked like termites) in the downstairs bathroom. We were told to turn off the lights and someone would be there to take care of it. Someone did show up while we were away and left a note stated that a company would be out to spray sometime in the next week (we were leaving in two days) and to keep the lights off at night to keep them away. That didn't help us since we kept the lights off anyway. The only downside to the house was the downstairs bathroom shower, it is tiny.

Esta casa esta muy amplia y limpia además que cuentas con artículos para la playa como sillas,sombrillas ,juguetes para los niños y esta muy sercas de la alberca tiene 4 cuartos muy amplios y las camas muy cómodas tiene 3 cuartos en el segundo piso y 1 cuarto en el primero tiene acceso privado a la playa pero tendrás que dirijirte al final de la calla wollyood st tendrás que caminar alrededor de 15 minutos para llegar a la playa cinseramente la recomiendo Pienso que no tenían suficientes bolsas para la basura 🚮 solo dejaron 2 y no fueron suficientes tuvimos que comprar más ya que eramos una familia de 2 adultos y 4 niños y esta casa tiene capacidad para 11 personas siento que son muy pocas bolsas aparte las bolsas son de muy mala calidad no me gustaron, otras casas donde me e quedado cuentan con cosas básicas para consumo como sal,o azúcar esta casa no cuenta con nada asegúrate de llevar todo lo que necesites pero fuera de eso todo lo demás esta muy bien si me volvería a quedar otra vez

This is our 2nd time renting a Real Joy property this year. Both times were great. The Miramar Beach location looked just like the picture. The beach gear is very convenient. The kitchen was more than fully stocked with utensils/equipment to prepare any meal. Spacious rooms, nice outdoor seating, comfortable beds. It felt warm and welcoming. The open spaces and games promoted bonding. Location was great and we rented a golf cart to get around. One of the smoke alarms started beeping and RealJoy was quick to change the batteries. Hours after checking out, our son realized he left his small stuffed bear behind. I texted RealJoy and they contacted the house cleaners and boy and bear reunited! A great trip!

The location was about an 8 minute walk to the beach. The wagons and beach necessities provided by the host made the trip to the beach a lot easier when accompanied by small kids. the property itself was gorgeous and really comfortable to stay. we loved the view and how close it was to the beach. it was peaceful and had no issues checking in or checking out. stores are around the corners. I feel that with the cleaning fee separately from the amount of each night, the cleaning can be a little more better. there was hair on the toilets and showers, and the refrigerator was a bit dirty, also taking out our own trash I can agree with that, but taking out the whole trash container outside and bringing it back in again was no fun, we had to hurry back from the beach before it was to late because unfortunately the HOA can fine the property if we leave it outside for to long. I was there to enjoy my day but felt to rushed. other than that It was spectacular.

We had a great time at Fun in the Sun. The management company was quick to respond to our needs. The pool was not heated so my grandkids only used it once. The beach was great and was a short walk. We appreicated the wagons and extra beach chairs and toys. Per the reviews I read, I brough extra trash bags, paper towels and toliet paper. The kitchen was otherwise well stocked. The large sectional sofa was great for our large family to hang out together on. The corner lot was perfect. I wish we could have parked more cars in the drive as we had 4 and had to find places to park the 2 away from the house. I accidently left something behind and the management company was great about helping me retrive it.

We absolutely loved our stay at Fun in The Sun house and Miramar Beach. The home was spacious and clean just exactly as pictured on the website. It was easy walking distance to the gated beach and a very quiet, safe neighborhood. The owners provided plenty of dishes and cooking supplies, towels and hair dryers in every bathroom. All beds and pillows extremely comfortable! We enjoyed using the grill and back patio. The property managers were easy to get ahold of and answers all of our questions! We will definitely stay here again.

If you are looking for a comfortable home w/plenty of indoor and outdoor space this is a great rental! Perfect for two families to share. The walk to the beach and local shops is short. Plenty of beach chairs, wagons and umbrella stocked in the garage. Rental comes w/ 2 private beach accesses and the community is gated. The backyard is also fenced in to allow for safe play for youngsters. If you prefer to skip eating out a lot the kitchen is well stocked, providing everything at home meal prep would require.

Our stay was great! Our family took a vacation during fall break. It rained all but one day but in true Florida fashion it cleared off every day but one. The beds were comfy and plenty of linens were provided. The staff was very helpful if something came up that we had a question about. Note that the home does not have a mailbox so Amazon deliveries will go to a locked mailbox that we did not have access to. You might bring hand towels for the kitchen too as there was only one. Otherwise our stay was really great. Would rent again.

The location was as advertised. It was a short five or so minute walk to the beach. The private beach was awesome. The home is beautiful and well taken care of. The only issue is they should consider a new cleaning staff. But, that comment does in no way take away from the home itself. Everything we needed was pretty much provided. My entire family will choose to stay here again! Five star home without a doubt.

The house was beautiful! Loved all of the rooms, very spacious. And the backyard is just enough space for the littles to play. We did have a hiccup upon arrival. Getting into the portal for this rental company was a little difficult, but upon arrival we found two of the showers nasty! There was used soap and a hairball in one, and mold in another. We called the company and they sent someone out within an hour to clean. The house did not come with ANY extras in the kitchen. So you have to bring/buy everything, salt/pepper, dish soap, toilet paper, paper towels, foil, plastic wrap, etc. All of those things add up really quickly! Its about 1/3 mile walk to the beach, seems easy, but when you get all your chairs, umbrellas, food/snacks, drinks, it is a long walk! But the house is stocked full with beach chairs, wagons and sand toys! This was a nice bonus! We would definitely stay here again.

Stunning home. Wonderful amenities. The hosts thought of everything from kitchen appliances and cooking utensils to comfortable spaces all around the house for a truly relaxing vacation experience. They even have wagons and beach chairs to take to the beach!
We called the hosts for some help with codes, and replies were quick and pleasant.
Would stay here again and will definitely recommend to friends.

The home was very clean, spacious and had everything you could need while on vacation. There were plenty of bath towels and linens for our 7 day stay. My family loved playing corn hole and using the extras the home provided in the garage. The pool is a short walk down the street. The beach entrance is a little farther by foot but my whole family was able to do the walk, even my 70 year old parents. Keep in mind the beach access are steps only so pack light as you will have to carry everything down the steps. I loved the private beach area which was awesome since we were avoiding large crowds due to COVID. The property management was very helpful and replaced the grill propane tank quickly once I notified them it was empty. We definitely will be back!

We enjoyed this location for our family vacation. All the beach necessities were available for use, making our daily trips to play in the sea & sand easy and enjoyable. The kitchen was accommodating for preparing meals for 10 people. I would definitely recommend staying in this location.

Everything was wonderful, a couple of things though.
The kitchen was wonderfully stocked. We loved that it had so many other utensils and useful items cooking tools and kitchen necessities.
We loved how each bedroom had very comfy beds and walk in closets which were big enough for pack and plays. It was great that the house came with a pack in play as well and high chair. This is a family friendly house. Also it was great that each bedroom had a tv in it. Also that the tv’s had cable and had a Netflix account open on each tv.
We also loved that the garage was well stocked with beach chairs and sand toys.
If we come back to Destin we will want to stay here again.

I really enjoyed staying at this house with my family. It was spacious enough that we didn’t feel like we were on top of one another. The beach access is really close—the walk is only 5-7 minutes. It was helpful that the house has a wagon and beach chairs that guests can use. You’ll need to bring your own canopy style tent. There was a small half moon tent for 2 people at the house. Check in was simple with a code texted an hour before check in. I would definitely stay at this property again. In fact I’ve already recommended it to someone. The only minor thing that I did not care for is the multiple soft sell texts about looking/buying local properties.
