Welcome to Blue Moon a beautifully 4-bedroom 4.5-bath cottage tucked away in WaterSound West Beach and is a quick walk or short bike ride from the dazzling waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Enjoy your morning coffee on the screen porch taking in all the nature that surrounds you. The chef in the family will love this kitchen that has everything you need to cook up a delicious meal for everyone.
On the first and second floors, you will find two king master suites with en-suite bathrooms, 2nd floor you will find guest bedroom 1 with two spacious queen beds with en-suite bathrooms, and guest bedroom 2 with a twin over twin bunk bed, accommodations for up to 10 guests. There is a seasonally heated, zero-entry neighborhood pool featuring cabanas, outdoor grills, and a fireplace! Go exploring on boardwalks and nature trails that wind through the community, over the large pond, and directly to the beach. This home is a lovely space to unwind and relax after a fun day in the sun. Come start making memories at Blue Moon that will last a lifetime.

About Watersound:

Families will love the amazing amenities at WaterSound! This 256-acre, gated community is ideally located directly on the Gulf of Mexico between Seaside and Rosemary Beach. WaterSound features two pools, Dunesider, and Bridges, along four different boardwalks to enter the beach. Go exploring on boardwalks and nature trails that wind through the community, over the large pond, and directly to the Beach. With Horseshoe Park and Deer Lake State Park nearby, a 9-hole putt-putt course, and kayak rentals available, WaterSound is sure to be the perfect peaceful beach vacation!  Watersound offers easy access to the beach across the boardwalk and a spectacular view of the dune ecosystem.

AREA ATTRACTIONS: 

“The Big Chill” is the community center for Prominence and is a quick 10-minute bike ride from your home or a 1.6-mile drive.  The Big Chill offers something for folks of all ages and tastes, from tacos and tequila to wings, burgers, and shakes, a stop here is quick, tasty, and convenient, and comes with a side of entertainment at the outdoor amphitheater. It's a great place to catch a concert, sporting event, or a movie on the lawn. 

Seaside is a short drive away and is most widely known for being featured in The Truman Show with Jim Carrey. It's incredible architecture has helped to make it famous and it's a faithful replication of the kind of seaside town that used to be common up and down the coast. Seaside has a Farmer's Market, post office, Repertory Theater, and neighborhood school. It boasts unique shopping, fantastic cuisine, and the incredible architecture that makes Seaside famous. There are activities for everyone: kayak rentals, bike rentals, paragliding, fishing, golfing, hiking, swimming, tennis -- you'll find it all right here.

The snorkelers in your group will love the new artificial reef called Sea Turtle Reef, deployed in 2017. Located just 783 feet out from the Grayton Beach State Park access, it is becoming a haven for sea life. Each of the 4 snorkeling reefs comprises 40 acres of permitted sea bottom. The Sea Turtle Reef is at a depth of 12-19 feet. We strongly recommend that snorkelers use a kayak, paddleboard, or other flotation device when visiting the snorkel reefs. Sea conditions can and do change quickly and often. Enjoy!

We love the Watersound West Community!! This is our second time staying at 34 Quarter moon. The home features spacious, well-designed interiors, multiple bedrooms, and a fully equipped kitchen, perfect for families or groups. One of our favorite thing about this house is the outdoor daybed for relaxing along with proximity to local attractions and outdoor activities. This house and the Watersound area it is located in is now far and away my favorite of all the places I have stayed on 30A. It strikes the perfect balance of beautiful design and comfort, and it was absolutely pristine in terms of cleanliness. We loved the screened in porch with the massive bench swing - it was comfy enough and peaceful enough to nap on. Biking through the community, the groves of trees and over the lake to the beach was a joy, and the beach itself was so blessedly quiet! That might be due in part to the time of year (late Sept) but it was amazing! I look forward to returning!

The home was perfect for our family to have our own space and also quality time together. Only thing is there was no back stock of paper towels or toilet paper so we did have to purchase those. I called asking where they were located and they said they only provide a starter. They did send over some more paper towels but for a 5 day stay and 10 people in the home we hade to buy more. I will definitely stay again but bring backups.

Beautiful, bright clean home

This is our 6th time staying in this neighborhood but this home is by far the nicest. It is very clean, beautiful, bright and airy. They provide a lot of kitchen supplies. We cooked a lot and we always had the things we needed. The beds were comfortable and clean, there was plenty of bathrooms and all super clean. They even had beach chairs and wagons for us to use which was very surprising because the other places didn’t have that. Thank you so much for hosting us in your warm beautiful home and we will definitely be back!
