Sandpiper Cove is a 43-acre gated resort located on exclusive Holiday Isle in Destin, Florida, which is a peninsula surrounded by the Gulf of Mexico and Destin Harbor. This expansive resort offers amazing amenities including private beach access, five swimming pools, three hot tubs, six lighted tennis courts, horseshoes, plus a 9-hole par 3 golf course. Additionally, the resort includes a beach pavilion that serves food and beverages, BBQ grills onsite, and Louisiana Lagniappe restaurant.

Area Attractions:

If you haven't been to Holiday Isle, you're in for a treat. It's a serene, little oasis in the middle of Destin, with 2 and a half miles of paved trails for walking and biking, surrounded by quiet neighborhoods perfect for exploring on a bike. It's just minutes away from restaurants, shopping, boat docks, fishing, golf, and amusements.

Close by is Destin Commons, a beautifully landscaped, pedestrian-friendly area and a great family venue where children will love to play in the interactive water fountains. Also, for the younger guests, a nautically/pirate themed outdoor playground features a 1,750 square foot soft play area with various creatures from the sea, slides, and a treasure chest! Destin Commons also has a mini-train for the kids. Destin Commons features over 75 shops and restaurants, including Godiva Chocolates, AMC Movie Theaters and Bass Pro Shop.

This was exactly what we needed! The unit was beautiful. We loved lounging on the balcony and watching the sunset and the boats come and go. Walking distance to the beach and a couple great restaurants. Couldn’t ask for more!

Wonderful place

We really enjoyed our stay! The condo was equipped with everything you need. Bed was super comfortable. Overall, the perfect little space for our getaway. Very close to all of Destin’s attractions. The condo was in the back of the complex so the walk to the beach was long especially in heat of summer. Plenty of parking at the beach so it didn’t really end up bothering us. We also brought our dog and there was plenty of places to walk dogs.

We had an awesome family vacation at this cost, comfortable, pet-friemdly walk-to-the-beach condo! The beach is gorgeous, and the free set of beach chairs that co.e with the condo were an incredible perk. We loved walking over and spending the day at the beach.
a dog--friendly state park - He.derson State Beach - was less than a 10-minute drive (si ce dogs are not allowed at most FL beaches, including the Sandpiper Cove Beach.
Apartment was exactly as described, comfortable, with everything you need for relaxing, cooking at home if you feel like it, cocktails on the balcony or front porch, both w a view of the harbor.
Accessible and easy parking g was a huge plus. So was the fact that I was able to pit my paddleboard right in the channel in front of the balcony, and paddle out through tje harbor.
Grocery stores, restaurants, Target within a 5 mi. drive or 10-15 min walk - could not have had better amenities for easy & comfortable family vacation.

We had a wonderful time on our vacation! We really enjoyed our condo, the complex and private beach. It was SO nice that (2) beach chairs and an umbrella were paid for. We also were able to stay one additional night for half the price, that was an amazing deal and much appreciated! The only thing we would change would be to have a stackable washer and dryer in the unit. The laundry mat was expensive and took forever for our towels to dry. The a/c seemed to have a hard time keeping up too but that is totally understandable with the heat/humidity. We will definitely return! ??

We had a perfect stay. This location couldn’t have been better. It is so convenient as it is right across from the beach access. All of the gate guards were informative and also reassured us we would be safe the whole time we were here. I love the accessibility of this location. The apartment was so adorable and comfortable! Definitely stay here!
