Condo was nice, carpet coming up on one corner which could be a tripping hazard. Dining chairs were pretty hard and not comfortable and don’t understand only one garbage bag. Only one elevator working at check-in day, but got better. Would return to this property or others in Destin again.

Lovely Beach front property with great views! Would definitely come back again. Property manager was quick to respond with questions and minor fix. Access to “carts” made hauling items to room easy; close to grocery stores, local restaurants and activities.

We had a blast! This was our 3rd time staying at Pelican Beach Resort and our first time on the top floor! At first I got the Willie’s when I looked over the balcony but after a few minutes I was well adjusted and spent a lot of time with my binoculars watching the ocean. We did see a dolphins leading a boat which was beautiful. We seen a few sting rays from above one was HUGE such a cool experience. Overall this place is 10 stars! From the view to the tiki bar all the way down to the chair rentals. I had an amazing time letting the ocean throw me around like a rag doll and I can’t wait until our next visit. Also. We did not see nor hear of any sharks in Destin and the week we went the weather couldn’t have been more perfect. 😍

It was wonderful and exactly how discribed! 20th floor had a great view saw sharks and manta rays in water from room. Very clean and well stocked! All the staff was friendly. Great location to many of the favorite restaurants and even Walmart was just a short drive. Nothing I could find was damaged or needed repair in the room. Beds were comfortable and showers were clean and worked well. Nice beach vibe to the decor. If I was going to say anything to improve it would be to have softer towells ( very minor issue). Overall we would definitely book again!

The property was very clean and had ample supplies, etc. The resort itself was also neat and clean, with helpful/friendly staff. Loved all of the resort amenities: tiki bar/cafe, pools, hot tub, beach chair service, etc. We had a great time and look forward to visiting again!

We were greeted by relaxing music & beach scenes on our tv as we entered the unit! It smelled fresh & clean. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware and dishes as well as small appliances. The beds were comfortable, including l the pull out couch! The view was absolutely spectacular!! The 20th floor is the place to be!! We enjoyed the beach directly in front of our unit and also enjoyed the pools & hot tubs. The indoor pool was a nice feature. It was very convenient having the Tiki bar on site & the beach service from the Tiki bar as we sat under our umbrellas on the beach! I highly recommend Pelican Beach Resort and unit 2006 for your next visit to Destin!!

Pelican Resort is great. 3 pools, Tiki bar, Cafe on-site. Right on the beach. Only negative was the mass amount of rented beach set ups put us far away from water. No tents allowed on their beach. Family had a blast. Highly recommend.

The view was beautiful. The property amenities were nice. Loved the tiki bar. The only thing that I hope they change is the master bedroom mattress needs replacement and sheets that fit. Not sure if it’s because the time of year or the tide but there were alot of jellyfish in the water.

Location was perfect, so much space the other families never knew we were on another floor. We stayed there for a week and it was very worth it. The public walkway to beach is right across the road from the house. House had everything you would need.

The amenities and things to do while there were great as well. Loved the pools and the tiki bar. Everyone was so nice and friendly. Great place to stay. My wife and I were very impressed. We had a wonderful Spring Break with our two young children in this unit at Pelican Beach Resort! Check in went smoothly and the unit was clean and ready for us at 4PM as stated. The view from the balcony is beautiful ! We saw dolphins swimming one morning which was very neat. Only two small issues during our stay: the coffee maker would not make more than about 4 cups of coffee at a time, even when we added much more water than that. Also, the ice maker in the fridge did not work so it would be nice to have some ice trays as an alternative, atleast until having a chance to buy a bag of ice. Other than that, the unit was perfect for our family of four! As for the resort itself, I've ready about issues with elevators but luckily during our week-long stay all elevators were up and running. The beach is clean and beautiful--the soft powdery white sand was so relaxing! We did rent chairs a few days which is a little pricey but with young children and not being able to bring our own it was a must at the beach. You can rent chairs for full or half days, with or without an umbrella. The first few days were very windy, making it hard to sit by the pools (truly constant strong winds). Many of the parents were watching their children swim while wrapped in towels/blankets/sweatshirts etc! The pools are heated so the water was nice, just the getting out that was tough! The weather ranged from 68-73 during our stay. The bar/grill was nice and convenient for lunch and fun drinks. All of the bartenders/staff were very friendly! The kids loved the non-alcoholic pina coladas/daiquiris! They were kind enough to make one and split it into two cups for our two kids. We dined at the cafe for breakfast one day and the food was good (pancakes, french toast, breakfast burritos). Overall, we loved our time at Pelican Beach resort and would go back--just maybe a little later in the year (April/May) when it warms up a bit more.

Everything was as described. Excellent location and amazing views. The highlight was seeing the dolphins right from the porch, and renting beach chairs and umbrellas and spending the days at the beach. As described “only enough to get you started”, so make sure you stop for toilet paper as there is not even a backup roll!

If you have kids though I would suggest getting their shower/bath ready the water gets extremely HOT! The Cafe at the hotel also closes really early 4pm which kinda sucked but there are several other food places and shops close by. Would definitely stay here again!

Everything was wonderful except for the beach space. If you are willing to pay for the daily chair rentals and don’t mind being a foot from your neighbors it will be fine. But if you want to save a little and bring your own chairs you won’t even be able to see the water because they require that you set your chairs and umbrellas 4 rows back behind the resort ones. Not good for those with small children

I highly recommend this property for a beach vacation. It was clean, well managed, and easy to check in and out. The bunk beds in the hallway had electrical outlets with USB ports and lights, which was very helpful and made those who stayed in the bunks happy. Having two bathrooms was vital! All in all, I would stay here again!

We recently stayed in Pelican Beach 2006 for our honeymoon. Everything was incredibly clean and we enjoyed our stay so much. Being on the top floor, the view was exceptional!! We also enjoyed the beach access. We rented an umbrella and chairs which were conveniently set out for us daily. All of the staff were very friendly!! We would definitely stay here again.

It was our first time in Destin. The property had a pretty decent sized layout with plenty of room. Beds were comfortable as well as the couch/fold out bed. The patterned chair was super low. The condo has a nice set up and theme but it is more outdated than other places that I have stayed in the past. I liked that the coffee table had wheels and didn't scratch the floor when moved. RealJoy had quick service, I did not have a long wait either time that I called. The associate was cordial as well. She was able to assist as needed and answer the questions that we had. They provided plenty of starter supplies and we didn't have a need to purchase items outside of what we wanted to eat(we brought travel products with us, which helped). We really enjoyed the awesome view (once we got adjusted to how high it actually was considering 2 small children wanting to see out to the beach). We got to see the dolphins set out in the mornings and return in the evenings. it was peaceful and quite being up that high. It is on a nice side of the beach that was never too crowded. The only thing we found unpleasant was that some of the dishes were not fully clean, one pot even had water inside with food stains around the side. No biggie though. Netflix didn't work for a day (drove the kiddos crazy) but we brought dvds to watch just in case (we didn't bother to report the Netflix issue because we had movies and spent most of our time out and about). Overall, we enjoyed the stay and would recommended it to anyone. Thanks RealJoy
