Little Bear's Haven

This place was beautiful and a great location. It had very comfortable beds and slept my family of 8 easily with beds to spare. Every amenity was perfect! We used the golf cart, the bikes, the grill, patio, pickleball courts and pool everyday. The bike paths got you straight to the beach and you can even bike to groceries. We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood surrounded by forest trails. RealJoy was always quick to respond and take care of our needs.

I throughly enjoyed our stay in this property. It wasn’t without some hiccups. I know I wasn’t the most pleasant person to deal with this week. The stove went out and a part needed to be ordered. Of course we didn’t realize that until after buying groceries for 11 people for the week. There was an issue with paper work the first 24 hours with the golf cart. I strongly recommend calling days before you arrive to ensure everything is taken care of for the golf cart. We couldn’t get any of the tvs to work for the streaming services. I subscribe to literally every streaming service but couldn’t ever get them to work. (not even with the help of 5 seventeen year olds.) The tvs are streaming services only. The office tried to help us trouble shooting them but we never got any of them up. Real Joy was responsive and helpful with every issue. They refunded us some to help offset some of our inconveniences. That was greatly appreciated.

We really enjoyed our stay big open space for everyone to relax and hang out. Accommodation was provided for our little infant and toddler. (Highchair, small table and chair, plates and silverware) walking distance to pool, as far as beach access I will say it’s a little far walking with toddlers but the older kids loved that they could get on the bikes and head to the beach through the trail while we loaded up on the golf cart. Definitely recommend!!!

The house was beautiful and very spacious for the 9 teenagers and 4 adults in our crew. Great location…very close to Publix and our favorite, Pizza by the Sea, and not a far drive to the beach. The girls enjoyed the bikes. The only ‘complaint’ we would give is we feel the house needs to have more towels/wash clothes for the number of guests the house can accommodate. We would definitely return to this home :)

Our family travels often and this was one of our favorite airbnbs yet. The house easily accommodated our group of 4 adults and 10 kids ranging from 8 months to age 15. There was even a pack n play, booster seat, high chair, and bed rail in the closet. The kitchen was well stocked for a large crew and we never ran out of dishes. Home was clean and comfortable. The location was fantastic… quick bike ride to the beach (Santa Clara/San Juan) or into Seaside. We stopped at the Publix almost daily which was less than a mile away with great selection. Grayton Beach State Park was our favorite beach access which was about a 10min car ride. The Nature Walk community is what made this home extra special. Plenty of walking/biking trails with scenic nature views made us feel set apart from the busyness of 30a, but we were still close to everything we wanted to do. We really enjoyed the community pool area as well. Very friendly neighbors too!
We will definitely be back to this home.

One of the most beautiful Airbnbs we have stayed at. Fit our huge multi family vacation of 14 people with room to spare. Host was very responsive to some of my immediate questions after check in and was very friendly. We will definitely try to book the place again for our big family trip next year. Things I recommend: look into renting a golf cart because that would have been fun for the family to zip around. There is a beach close but we chose to drive to Henderson State Park as the beach area there is much more spread out. There is a Publix within 2 minutes drive from the house but it is pretty packed. We recommend driving into Destin to do your grocery shopping. There is no need to bring any type of cooking or eating utensils as they had everything you would ever need. Don’t forget to use the outdoor shower as we forgot to until the last day of our week in the home.
Again, beautiful place and we will definitely book this home or another RealJoy home again! Thanks!

We had a great week at Little Bear’s Haven! The house was very accommodating! The large open space of the kitchen , family room and eating area was nice with a big group. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen well equipped with everything we needed. Our check in was at 4:00 and when we arrived, the house was NOT clean or ready for us to come in. A maintenance guy was just pulling up to fix a lightbulb. I had to call and report to management that the house wasn’t clean. They told us it would be closer to 6:00 for the house to be ready. We returned at 5:30 and the cleaners were done. When we went in, there was NO smell of cleaners. It had appeared that the beds were just made and maybe the floor swept. We found socks and underwear left from the people before us. This house was not cleaned properly. It was dirty. With a global pandemic going on, this is unacceptable. I will be reaching out to Real Joy Management. Seaside and Santa Rosa Beach are amazing towns! There is so much to do for all ages! We really loved the area! We would recommend this area and even this house if it was properly cleaned!

Just about Everything about this property was perfect! Close to community pool, plenty of towels and blankets, 3 king beds, even had a straightener, curling iron plus a hairdryer for each bathroom. The only issues we had was the wifi didn’t work at all and we had to call for the password and location of the pool key. A little page on the bar providing all of the info would’ve been great. 2 of the bedrooms have bathrooms and the other 3 have to share just one, so Mack sure that works for your group. You will need to drive to the beach, we rented a golf cart ans it’s not far
