Welcome to Leeward Key 401! The GULF views from this 4th floor Destin condo are so stunning - you may be tempted to make this lovely Leeward Key vacation condo your permanent home! This cheery condo is complemented by a spacious four-bedroom, three-bath floor plan that sleeps 10 and will have you saying "bon voyage" to a hectic workweek. Luxurious accommodations include 9-foot ceilings, flatscreen TVs, granite countertops, and a fully-appointed kitchen. There is a king master suite with a private balcony and private bath, outfitted with a jacuzzi tub and separate shower. Additional sleeping arrangements include a king guest bedroom, a queen guest bedroom, and a guest bedroom with 2 double beds. Located next door to Kenny D's, and across the street from Captain Dave's, this spot is within a few miles radius to malls, golf courses, movie theater, and golf courses - so you can relax or be entertained at any time. This bright, beachy condo offers everything you need for a fantastic vacation. Come make Leeward Key 401, a family vacation tradition for years to come!

Leeward Key offers great amenities for the whole family! There are two pools with gated access, both landscaped with tropical foliage, and one is heated and located right on the beach! The complex has 3 grills guests can use- two gas grills and one charcoal grill. Whether you spend your day floating on the waves of the Gulf just steps away, lounging in the calm waters overlooking the white sand and emerald water, or lazing in the more protected pool on the north side of the complex, you are sure to love this complex. Leeward Key is also a non-smoking facility. There's a fitness room onsite, as well as a vending room for a late-night snack run. The laundry facility is located in the condo. Leeward Key offers all you could want for a fantastic beach vacation!

Area Attractions:
Grand Boulevard Town Center is a pedestrian-friendly, shopping and dining complex just off Emerald Coast Parkway, convenient to both Sandestin and Miramar Beach. For the high-end shopper, the center offers a number of boutiques, and dining options.

If you are near Miramar Beach, the snorkelers in your group will love the new artificial reef called Dolphin Reef, deployed in 2017. Located just 685 feet straight out from the Miramar Regional Public Beach access (by Pompano Joe's), it is becoming a haven for sea life. Each of the 4 snorkeling reefs comprises 40 acres of permitted sea bottom. The Dolphin Reef is at a depth of 12-20 feet. We strongly recommend that snorkelers use a kayak, paddleboard, or other flotation device when visiting the snorkel reefs. Sea conditions can and do change quickly and often. Enjoy!

Beautiful setting in Miramar Beach

A great time of year to visit the panhandle of Florida! Just prior to our visit, RealJoy reached out to us to let us know a piece of furniture was being replaced that did not impact the quality of our stay. Within 12 hours of checking in we found another issue that was immediately addressed. The issue was on going and we were in touch with an agent each day. Each time Real Joy agents continued to reach out. In the end solutions were offered and we were satisfied. I would definitely rent through RealJoy Vacations again. The issues with the unit are being addressed.

Everything else was great. Proximity to beach was the BEST Had a fishy smell in fridge Bottom of trash can was not clean...smell could have been coming from there. Vacuum cleaner looks like it hadn't been emptied all year.

Great space!

The layout of this condo is great! We had 2 families of 4 staying for 5 nights and there was room for everyone! Comfy beds, stocked kitchen. The freezer draw on the fridge seemed to not close all the way so it ran loudly alot and only kept some things frozen. We love staying at Leeward Key, great access to beach, pool, and restaurants!!

Overall we had a good stay. The property was safe and clean. We only had two concerns... Water kept leaking on the floor in the kitchen (Maintenance came to fix it but it continued to leak). And secondly, we had a clean up fee that wasn't disclosed until after we paid and had a quoted price. It was later charged to my credit card. The company said that they had to manually put in the fee but since I purchased it at 1030pm no one was in the manually put in the fee. And no they wouldn't waive the fee.

The fee that was charged is an additional cleaning fee for stays longer than 15 nights in any of our units. This is disclosed in our monthly winter rental agreement and VRBO marketing information. Nice condo and great location

The condo was very nice. The only reason I gave the check-in process 4 stars was because, as of check-in time, I still hadn't received the door code information. I had to call to ask for it to be sent to me. Beds were comfortable. One complaint about the unit, and this is something the owners can fix easily, the thermostat wouldn't allow a setting below 70 degrees. Many in my group are used to sleeping in a cooler house at night so we were too warm when we slept. We used the ceiling fans in the rooms that had them, and we had 1 floor fan that we used. Owners need to change this setting to allow for cooler temps for sleeping.
